Welcome to the 21st Nordic Course in Emergency and Trauma Radiology from Monday to Thursday, June 2nd to 5th, 2025.

21st Nordic Course in Emergency and Trauma Radiology serves as an introductory and a refresher course in traumatic and non-traumatic emergency imaging. Interactive Quiz case sessions will summarize the lectures and further enhance learning. The preliminary course program and faculty listing will be available here as the registration opens in December 2024.

Pre-course Trauma and Emergency Radiology Workshop on Sunday, June 1st: Workshop seats are limited to 40 persons and available only for Nordic Course participants. Participants have to bring their own laptops to the workshop.

European CME credits

The 21st Nordic Course in Trauma and Emergency Radiology, Oslo, Norway 02/06/2025 - 05/06/2025 , has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 18.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications .

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

NEW! Interesting cases - Case presentations (5+2 minutes):

Residents are invited to send their own cases on PowerPoint (patient history, imaging, diagnosis and summary). Selected cases are presented by the residents during the course. The best case will be awarded. Please send your case to: info@nordictraumarad.com Deadline: Monday March 31st, 2025

Cancellation policy

Cancellation fee before April 25th is 100 EUR. From April 26th, cancellation only by exchange of participant.

Accommodation

To be booked individually by each participant.

A limited number of rooms have been reserved for course participants at the Scandic Holmenkollen Park Hotel (2390 NOK/ night). Get in contact with the hotel to get information about reduced price for course participants.

The course is organized by ‘Nordic Forum for Trauma and Emergency Radiology’ in collaboration with Department of Radiology at Oslo University Hospital. The course organizing committee consists of radiologists Johann Baptist Dormagen and Johannes Godt.
